![]() I've ended up adding the account as an iCloud account. I've tried to add my iCloud account as an IMAP account - using my custom domain as my email address and my specifying my iCloud address for both IMAP and SMTP - without success. Adding the account works, but you cannot specify your full name and the account settings are locked in once it's created. ![]() If you're using the "new" Outlook, Microsoft insists you use their "Microsoft Sync" feature. ![]() If you're using the "old" Outlook, it just works. With Outlook on MacOS, you can add iCloud as an IMAP account - specifying the custom address as your email and your iCloud address as your usernames - without much trouble. The actual transition was great, but - as an Outlook user - I've had a few challenges and am still having some trouble getting things to work. I've recently migrated my email to an iCloud custom email domain.
